UPCOMING TRAININGS

Building Blocks of Breech: A Holistic Approach

October 22-24, 2025

This workshop is a unique opportunity to build basic midwifery understandings for all births by utilizing a midwifery breech perspective. Join us for one evening of storytelling and myth followed by two days of caretaking breech birth processes. This is a heartfelt approach to breech care that returns to the basics of the Midwives presence, and spiritual awareness in reducing intervention and interference. We will use hands on practice utilizing a doll and pelvis for normal breech, deviations, and for hands-on maneuvers. Learn how to reduce interventions through the basic foundations of knowing how breech works.

Application process:

We are excited to invite you to apply for the “Building Blocks of Breech”. While we deeply honor the essential roles of doulas, birthkeepers, and student midwives who are at the start of their birth work journeys, this workshop is designed to prioritize those who are actively practicing midwifery and attending births, as well as their students and apprentices. This approach allows our midwife instructors and workshop directors to create a group that aligns with the experience and needs best suited for this specialized offering.

Please note that everyone is welcome to apply, and we encourage those interested to do so. Birth from The Earth is proud to offer a variety of training opportunities that cater to birth workers at all levels, ensuring there is a space for everyone to learn and grow in their practice.

We look forward to receiving your applications and sharing this enriching experience with those selected.
